Risotto Restaurant: (Thornwood) Risotto officially reopened yesterday for dinner service. They are open this week from 4:30 PM – 10 PM, including Christmas Day.

Rory Dolan’s: (Yonkers) This restaurant is offering a 4 course Christmas dinner for $32.95/person. Open from 11 AM – 10 PM.

Sea Flame Restaurant: (Scarsdale) The restaurant is offering a four course dinner on December 24 and 25 for $79.95/person. Reservations only.

Whiskey River: (Peekskill) This restaurant is open on Christmas Day from 5- 10 PM for dinner and drinks.

Shop:

Branches of Beauty: (Scarsdale) This skincare boutique in Scarsdale provides facials, microblading, laser hair removal and so much more. They are currently offering a holiday promotion. When you purchase gift card of $100 or more, you receive another $25 gift card for yourself.

Double Barrel Roasters: (Yonkers) Buy their new limited edition holiday Cinnamon Chocolate Truffle flavored coffee. They also have limited quantities of their other holiday flavors like Candy Cane, Biscotti and Anisette. You can choose decaf or regular (caffeine). Orders are placed online via their website.

December 15, 2020 – January 4, 2021: (New Rochelle) Take a StoryWalk with the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District, the New Rochelle Library and the City of New Rochelle. Start at the New Rochelle Public Library’s Lawton Street Drop off/Pick up entrance windows. There you will find the first few pages of the classic children’s book, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. A map shows where the next few pages of the book can be found. Enjoy this free, outdoor, socially distant family-friendly activity.

December 24 – December 31: City of Yonkers Jingle Jangle Virtual 5K (Yonkers) This is a free virtual 5K to get people active and to raise community awareness. The run can be done inside or out. Head to the site to print up your participant bib.

December 28 – December 30: Holi-Daze Mini Camps at Teatown (Ossining) Teatown is offering mini camps for children ages 4-12 from 1 PM – 3 PM. There’s a different theme each day (December – 28 Reptiles, December 29 – Mammals, December 30 – Raptors). 11 AM each day there’s a 30 minute zoom session with the Animal Ambassadors. In the afternoon, there will be exploration in the woods. Members: $120, Non-Members: $150, includes morning zoom session.

Peekskill Brewery’s “Main Dish”: (Peekskill) Peekskill Brewery released “Main Dish” to celebrate their 12th anniversary. This American Pilsner is only available at the Peekskill Brewery or the 12 restaurants they have partnered with.

Shake Shack: (White Plains) Shake Shack opened its newest Westchester County location at the Westchester in White Plains. Located in the Savor Food Hall on Level 4, you can now enjoy burgers, shakes and more at this new location.
