Business News:

Beer Noggin in Bronxville (102 Kraft Avenue) is closing. Today (7/31) is their last day of business.

Although no official announcement has been made on social media, the Ossining Bakery in Ossining (50 N. Highland Avenue) appears to be closed.

Sweat New York opens August 1 in Pleasantville (2 Jackson Street). The studio offers hot vinyasa flow yoga and sKulpt classes. Check their website for schedules.

Last Thursday Backyard Butchers opened in Yorktown Heights at the Jefferson Valley (near Macy’s). The pop-up offers restaurant quality meat at near wholesale pricing.

Restaurant News:

Every Tuesday Dubrovnik Restaurant in New Rochelle (721 Main Street) offers a whole Branzino for $20. Grilled over charcoaled wood, it is served whole and fileted tableside. 

Saltaire Oyster Bar in Port Chester (55 Abendroth Ave.) has introduced “Saltaire Supper.” Join us every Tuesday & Wednesday in The Chart Room from 4-9PM for Saltaire Supper. This 3 Course “Off the Hook ” dinner features Saltaire favorites – all accompanied by our famous Corn Bread & Salted Honey Butter.  $40per person. This offer is limited to up to groups of 6 and is not offered at the bar.

The Cube Inn in Tarrytown (22 Main Street) is now serving The Flamingo drink with a free flamingo floatie, while supplies last.

Ofori’s World Cuisine in Peekskill (982 Main Street) debuted a $10 lunch menu. Served 12-3 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Starting last week, Goosefeather in Tarrytown (49 East Sunnyside Lane) is offering guests 1/2 off bottles of rosé at the Lawn Bar, with the purchase of food from the lawn menu on Thursdays only. The Lawn Bar is open Thursday through Sunday from 6PM to 10:30PM. This deal is available on the lawn only (not in the restaurant or on the patio/garden).
