Business News:

Lile Boutique Spa in Peekskill (12 N. Division Street, 2nd floor) is now offering Reiki. Massage therapist, Alexa, is taking reiki energy clients.

Farida Skincare Studio in White Plains (120 Bloomingdale Road) has new meditation/yoga classes at the Farida Studio. Instructor Deanna leads the classes on Wednesday at 9:30 AM or 6:30 PM and Saturdays at 9:00 AM.

Visit the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers (Warburton Avenue) for Feel Good Fridays. They are offering free admission 5-7 PM through August 25th.

Restaurant News

July 22Wanna Empanada, known for their empanada food truck, just opened a storefront this past weekend in Ossining (238 North Highland Avenue).

July 27 Freddy’s Pleasantville celebrates their one year anniversary. The Pleasantville restaurant (472 Bedford Road) is also a Jacob Burns Film Center (364 Manville Road) partner. During blockbuster movie week, from July 20-July 27, they are offering patrons 10% off their Freddy’s bill when you show your Jacob Burns ticket stub. Plus, Jacob Burns members receive a 10% discount all year round.

Baked By Susan in Croton on Hudson (379 S. Riverside Ave.) now serves afternoon tea. The teas from Brooklyn Tea Company can be accompanied by an assortment of homemade tea sandwiches, scones, muffins, cookies and more.

The Tee Bar and Grille in Shrub Oak (795 Route 6) recently opened. The modern American bistro is on the property at The Links at Valley Field golf course.

Due to the recent heavy rain and floods, Bob-B-Q’s in Shrub Oak (958 E. Main Street) had to close for some time. The restaurant is now open again and can use the support.

Rosa’s La Scarbitta in Mamaroneck will be reopening as Rosa’s Cucina Italiana at their new Mamaroneck location (410 W Boston Post Road). The soft opening is July 26th.
