Hooray for Friday! I am running on fumes and so happy for the weekend. Here are nine from this week.
1. Our daughter is back home! – Her flight landed super late Wednesday night at JFK and she didn’t get home until 12:30 AM. She had an amazing time but was happy to be back home. After hearing details about her trip, I didn’t get to bed until after 2 AM and was up at 5:30 AM for work. Like I mentioned…..running on fumes!
2. Storm King Art Center – Sunday we took a trip to Storm King Art Center. It’s a huge, 500-acre outdoor sculpture museum in New Windsor. It had been several years since we visited and it was our son’s first time visiting.
3. Reading – This week I finished reading Something Wilder by Christina Lauren. It wasn’t my favorite book by the authors, but was an enjoyable enough read.
4. Cooking – This week we made Air Fryer Beer Battered Fish and chips (but we fried the fish in a pan instead of air frying), Crunchy Roll Bowls, breakfast for dinner (scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuits) and potato pancakes and cheese blintzes, both from Trader Joe’s.
5. Puzzle – Last week I finished this Seaside Beach puzzle. It was another puzzle that my mom had passed down to me.
6. Watching – We had a movie night with my son and he chose Rush Hour. Even though it came out in 1998, this was the first time I watched the movie. My husband and I have been watching season 33 of The Amazing Race on Hulu and I’m continuing to watch The Bachelorette, RHONY and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
7. Eating – After our visit to Storm King Art Center, we stopped in Cornwall at Fiddlestix Cafe for lunch. My husband and I shared these Greens, Eggs and Parm and a Portobello Mushroom sandwich with sweet potato fries, while my son had a Sausage, Egg, Cheese sandwich.
Before the comedy show we shared a falafel platter from Shah’s Halal.
8. Comedy Show – Friday night my husband and I went to Levity Live in West Nyack and saw Finesse Mitchell. It was a fun night out.
9. Barbie movie – I didn’t think that I was going to see the Barbie movie in the theater. However, it’s been hyped up so much that I caved. I may be in the minority, but I didn’t love it. It gets an okay, ⅗ star rating for me.

Yay for your daughter getting home! That puzzle is so cute. Did you know they made a Rush Hour 2? My husband was/is a huge Jackie Chan fan but I think my favorite part of the movie was all the bloopers they showed at the end. They did make a fun pair for the movie though.
