Taste of Westchester Cooking Demo Classes: (restaurants throughout Westchester County) Enjoy cooking demos from local chefs and then sample their creations. November 7 – 20: (throughout the Hudson Valley) Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Enjoy a 3 course lunch or 3 course dinner at one of over a hundred restaurants throughout the Hudson Valley. November 2022 – January 2023 (FDR State Park, Yorktown Heights) Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience – “A nighttime woodland trail experience filled with magical creatures and wizarding wonders from the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ films. Explore after dark the sounds, lights, and special effects that bring the magic of the Wizarding World to life. Guests will also be able to enjoy a wide range of delicious food and drinks at the village! November 9 – It’s a Wonderful Life movie showing at The Tarrytown Music Hall (Tarrytown) Watch this holiday classic on the big screen. 8 PM, $10/non-members, $5/members
November 12-December 4 Greenburgh Nature Center Holiday Train Show (weekends only)
“Our Holiday Train Show features a special 12 x18 foot display of model trains traveling through countryside scenes. The display includes detailed features such as a mountain with a train tunnel, a ravine with a train trestle crossing over it, a stream, a model village, railroad crossings, and much more.” The Holiday Train Show takes place inside the Manor House. 10AM-4PM.
November 16 – Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet at The Capitol Theatre (Port Chester) “As Moscow Ballet and its acclaimed Great Russian Nutcracker celebrate their 30th anniversary of touring North America, the production has been rebranded as “NUTCRACKER! Magic of Christmas Ballet. This new name is representative of the diverse international cast that comes together from around the world to tour the country and promote an appreciation of ballet and the unity that the art form brings. Bringing people together during the Christmas season has always been at the forefront of the production, and after 30 years of bringing joy and celebration to families nationwide, they continue to welcome new and returning guests to take part in the holiday classic that is “NUTCRACKER! Magic of Christmas Ballet.” Doors open 6 PM, Show begins at 7 PM. Tickets: $35-$85
November 26 – World Ballet Series: Nutcracker at the Paramount Hudson Valley (Peekskill) “A part of the World Ballet Series, the Nutcracker is performed live by a multinational cast of 50 professional ballet dancers gathered to bring the most beloved holiday tradition to life. A family-friendly experience accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, over 150 hand-sewn costumes, hand-crafted sets and classic Marius Petipa choreography. This fairytale will take you on a Christmas night adventure with Clara and the Nutcracker to the Land of Sweets. See the iconic Waltz of Flowers, and the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, meet Mother Ginger and the Drosselmeyer.” 7 PM, Tickets: $33-$175
November 25-27 (and December dates) – Peace, Love & Lights at Bethel Woods (Bethel) “Drive-thru holiday winter lights on the Bethel Woods grounds from the comfort of your car. Simply turn off your headlights and follow the magical glow. There is nothing else quite like this the area.” One ticket per carload – $30, 5 PM – 10 PM, last entry at 9 PM

November 16 – Broadway Divafest (White Plains) Taking place at the White Plains Performing Arts Center. “Produced and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis exclusively for the White Plain Performing Arts Center, BROADWAY DIVAFEST will showcase the talents of five of Broadway’s finest vocalists who will celebrate the roles and musical selections that underscore the leading lady’s influence in the “Great Bright Way”. November 6 – MADE Hudson Valley Holiday Market at City Winery Hudson Valley (Montgomery)
11 AM-5 PM “Guests will enjoy an elevated and immersive shopping adventure and indulge in hand-crafted cocktails, cozy bonfires, live music, winery tours, and delicious food, all while meeting the best local Makers and shopping their unique wares.” General Admission tickets $12 in advance/$15 at the door.
November 12-13 – Greenburgh Nature Center Holiday Market (Greenburgh) – “An outdoor Holiday Market featuring live music, with local artists and vendors selling sustainable items. Visitors will enjoy homemade apple cider and hot chocolate while shopping for unique environmentally friendly gifts.”10AM-2PM.
November 26–27 – Holiday Market at Bethel Woods (Bethel) “More than 75 craft, artisan, and specialty food vendors will be placed throughout the site, giving you access to one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, provisions, and more.”
